Pre-requisites: Completion of both Foundations 1 and Foundations 2
OR Voice Over for Actors 1 and Voice Over for Actors 2
OR Working Pro 1 - (have demo, preparing for your next one)
This class provides the actor with a rigorous workout in which to apply the previously covered Kalmenson Method* and principles towards the following goals:
To
solidly define your most appropriate voice-over signature for this
point in your process.
To
create your "personal master plan" (creation of your commercial voice
over demo theme).
To
create a specific demo blueprint/outline; choosing, organizing and
strategizing scripts based on roles, products, attitudes, music,
sound effects, etc.
To
format and rehearse 12 - 16 scripts for your demo. Each script will
be edited, defined by role and attitude, and rehearsed to the point
of absolute preparation for your demo recording session.
An
in-depth analysis of current trends, prototypes, and the psychology
behind the choices of the voice-over "flavor of the month"
translating trend into your own truth, rather than attempting to
mimic.
To
further expand your base of self-reference - further identifying and
polishing strengths, weeding out weaknesses.
Students: Maximum of 8
students.
Cycles: 6 consecutive weeks (a total of 18 hours)
Evening classes: 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm
Tuition: $600.00 for the six-week
cycle.

Deposit: Our receipt of a non-refundable $175.00 deposit guarantees a place in class.
Payment plan option: Placement in class is guaranteed upon receipt of $100.00 deposit (non-refundable). Balance will be paid in $100.00 increments the day after each class commensurate with class session number 1 and ending with class session number 5.
No class make-ups or refunds for missed classes.

Materials: Bring one USB drive (minimum size: 1 gigabyte) in its original, unopened packaging and a pen. All other materials provided.
Instructors: Our teaching staff has been carefully chosen and intensively trained in the Kalmenson Method and are all veteran voice over professionals.
* The Kalmenson Method - a simple, yet
powerful focus tool for voice-over copy that allows the actor to see
himself or herself in any given script and to find your own "truth"
in voice-over.
